Do you have 6+ years of relevant Finance experience (preferably in the Food / FMCG industry) and are you a qualified accountant? As our new FP&A Specialist, you will be the primary contact and business partner to several Group VP's responsible for a functional area (e.g. Category marketing, Innovation, Operations, etc). You will be involved in strategic and operational decision making by performing various analyses and making recommendations. Furthermore you will be in charge of various projects that are happening within the functional areas that you support; Next to that you also support the overall B2B planning and analysis process. You will be part of a team of analysts who will support you. The official job title is 'FP&A Manager', which points to the job level (no direct reports). You will report to the Group Financial Controller. This position is based at our Head Office in Wormerveer (Greater Amsterdam Region). Your main responsibilities will include: Business Planning and Forecasting • Oversee annual (BUD) & strategic planning process (mid-term) and track results on a monthly cycle • Identify risks & sensitivities against the delivery of full year targets • Identify opportunities and corrective actions to eliminate gaps in performance Evaluate Performance and Initiate Corrective Actions • Implement reporting systems to inform decision making & support prioritization • Review monthly performance and provide a comprehensive & insightful analysis of results • Establish, track & monitor KPIs • Plan and assist with coordination of monthly / quarterly committees and business reviews • Provide guidelines to ensure consistency & integrity of data measurement across regions Ensure Organizational Effectiveness Support investment and portfolio choices by providing relevant financial analysis / insights and mount appropriate challenge to business case proposals Support standardization & continuous improvement in the relevant functional processes, systems & practices Work cross functionally on new capacity / capital investments & capabilities Who are you? You are a professionally qualified accountant ACMA / ACCA (if ACA-significant industry experience) with a minimum of 6 years finance experience. Of that work experience you have 2 years of experience in a medior or senior role, preferably in the B2B Food / FMCG industry. You bring the following competences: • The ability to lead and drive change & ensure delivery across all levels of the organization. You are a leader comfortable operating with senior management level. • Deliver to tight deadlines. • Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and influencing skills. You are commercially oriented & focused and have experience of dealing with Sales, Marketing and Supply Chain. • Team player and have the ability to maintain & develop peer to peer relationships. • High work standards and a sense of integrity. You communicate in a political manner. • Strong analytical skills and you are accurate in your work. • Good IT skills.
