| The Financial Service Center of my client in Rotterdam has two locations. The total FSC organization has approximately 35 employees of whom approximately 25 are hosted in Rotterdam and 10 in Belgium For this client we are Currently looking for a Hedge accounting employee (m/f). Position In this role you are responsible for the reporting of the company which is administering the hedging activities of The Group worldwide. The main focus of the hedge accounting employee is to ensure that hedging is performed according to guidelines. The training that is needed for using the treasury management system will be provided. You will work closely with your collegues in a small team of 5 people. Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day operation, coordinating the accounting and reporting for the company’s FAS133 and IAS39 Derivative Accounting process, including , Interest Rate Swaps, Foreign Exchange Transactions and others. Analyze and documents contracts for derivatives. Documents and designate applicable transactions as hedges; Measure and monitor effectiveness of existing hedge documented transactions working with appropriate departments. Executing the internal controls which are in place within Finance dept and therefore comply with the Sarbanes Oxley , corporate policies and procedures for derivatives . Further the GA Employee Hedging is expected to contribute to the development of Operational Excellence within the NLGAS/GFLC processes, the harmonization of processes and realization of efficiency improvements (introduction of ABB’s Best Practice Processes). Ensuring timely resolution of customer issues and queries in order to maintain customer satisfaction Keeps up to date process tasks lists and desktop procedures Supports GA Team leader Hedge Accounting Operations in respect to ad hoc request. | |||||||||||||||

| BSC in economics Excellent knowledge of Excel and Access one to two years of experience in a comparable function (hedging or treasury). Knowledge of / experience with US GAAP and/or IFRS Fluent in English (spoken en written), Dutch is a plus. Knowledge of any other languages is beneficial. Sox experience and knowledge of SAP R-3 is a plus Good communication skills Being able to work in a multicultural and demanding , highly motivated team Teamplayer, positive minded, a pro-active and can-do attitude Analytical skills and detail oriented. No “9 – 5” attitude Handle stress well, ability to multi-task. | |||||||||||||||
